General Description

The KBAC Series by KB Electronics features 12 inverter Hybrid AC drives.  The term “Hybrid” refers to a digital drive with analog interface.  The KBAC Series models range from 1/8 through 5.0 horsepower.  They are built in rugged enclosures  that are NEMA 4X IP65 die-cast aluminum washdown.  The enclosures have hinged covers and watertight so they can be used indoors or outdoors.  KBAC drives require no programming.  They have jumper selectable  functions and simple trimpot adjustments for quick and easy installation and use.

>> Longer life for motors: Features proprietary CL software; overload protection; eliminates nuisance tripping; prevents burnout of the motor. Also UL approved as an electronic overload protector for motors.

>> Save energy: Use only the power necessary for your application; save energy by using variable speed instead of constant speed motors.

>> Economical: Eliminates secondary enclosure; No holes to drill, no switches to install; No need to derate drive for high starting torque applications. KBAC Series drives also combine Soft Start with Variable Speed Adjustable Soft Start.

>> GFCI software*: Operate equipment with Ground Fault Circuit Interruption circuit breakers or outlets.
